The BC Racing V1 Series coilovers use a large 44mm diameter piston in a 50mm diameter damper body to increase oil capacity over standard dampers.-The BC Racing coilover kits use Nitrogen pressurised Monotube dampers with a large diameter pistons and bodies. Mono-tube pistons are much larger than twin-tube coilover dampers. This allows it to be more sensitive to small suspension movements . -The larger outer shafts are stronger so they cope with higher side loads.
